Why insurance?
Accidents can happen in an instant: a small stone hitting the windscreen or overlooking a post—it can happen to anyone. While this is of course inconvenient, Kuperus Car Rental offers you the option to significantly reduce the risk of unexpected costs with the insurances below.

General terms and conditions

• The general rental conditions of BOVAG Rental and Car Sharing Companies apply when renting a vehicle. For business customers, the business rental conditions of BOVAG Rental and Car Sharing Companies apply. Please view the conditions for private individuals or businesses.
• Fuel and AdBlue are at the renter’s expense.
• Prices are subject to change and typographical errors.
• Our vehicles are equipped with a Track & Trace system for your safety and ours.
• A rental day is defined as one calendar day starting from 8:00 AM.
• The renter/driver must have held a valid Dutch driver’s license for at least 1 year. For passenger cars, the renter/driver must be at least 21 years old.
• An administration fee of €19.00 (including VAT) will be charged for handling traffic fines.
• The renter is responsible for properly and safely loading and unloading the vehicle.
• It is permitted to drive a Kuperus Car Rental vehicle in the following EU countries: Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, San Marino, Scotland, Spain, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Switzerland.
• The weight of the cargo must not exceed the permitted load capacity of the rented trailer, van, or truck.
• If you do not refuel the vehicle yourself, Kuperus will charge a refueling fee of €9.00 (including VAT), in addition to the cost of the fuel. There are several petrol stations near our location, and our staff will gladly advise you on the fastest and most affordable options.
• Tow bar surcharge: €12.00 per day including VAT. Automatic transmission surcharge: €6.05 per day including VAT.
• Kuperus Car Rental offers special conditions and rates for customers who rent long-term or frequently. You can also consult our specialists for short lease and leasing options.
• Extending the rental period beyond the agreed end date is only possible with prior approval from Kuperus Car Rental.

Deposit / Payment

Kuperus Car Rental only accepts payments by debit card, credit card, or iDEAL | Wero via our website. Any refund will be transferred back to your account within two working days.

Identification

Please bring a valid Dutch driver’s license that you have held for at least 1 year. We will verify your name and address details (NAW), for which we may ask for additional documentation such as a hospital registration card, the insurance (green) card of your own vehicle, or a bank statement (not older than 60 days).

Kuperus Car Rental reserves the right to refuse rental without stating a reason.
